I stopped by a Dia de los Muertos celebration at the Mexican American Cultural Center yesterday on my way to the gym. It was really interesting. I saw altars honoring the dead, painted faces, and children decorating sugar skulls. It was definitely more celebratory than somber. I didn't have any pan de los muertos. I had some of that in my Spanish I class, not really a fan. For more pictures check my flickr.
